to give you an idea of how hard it is to maintain black....check out this bumper under the halogen lighting. you would probably not notice this if there isn't enough light. pictures with the sun reflecting on the surface will also show all defects
Before...some swirl marks, some random scratches ![]() 50/50...top polished, bottom untouched ![]() After...swirls and scratches now gone ![]() |

the second picture illustrates a 50/50, where the upper part of the bumper (facing us) has been polished, and the bottom part is left untouched. it would've been more obvious if i taped off part of the bumper. you can see where the light reflects and where the paint defects have been removed
