They do have to make their monthly quota. Coppers must not be happy in winter because they have to work hard for their quotas.

Living in a day dream, are we? It's obviously not going to happen because just think illegal racing takes place so much with them naming it "illegal" and if they make it an organized event they open a whole can of worm upon themselves.

And why should the government make a playground for people who want to NOS their way to hell?

 

Two years ago I would race every Friday in scarborough at a industrial area, then Saturday I would head to Woodbridge to race!! There would be at least 20 cars on a avg. night, but some nights there would be 50 cars!! I never seen a problem with the racing aspect, but when you have a 100 people hanging around, there is always a fight or two!! There was this one time, a Mustang driver lost control, but after a bump into a curb he was OK, well he was, but the front drivers side wheel and hub was a little bent!! but no one was hurt!!!! I think we should be able to do this, as long as there is some type of organization... I will be making a couple nights out this year!!!

 

The way "they" look at it, that mustang could've run someone over. But I agree with you, a little bit of organization in it and it would be rather safe. As I mentioned before too, we pay the taxes so we could have a fire truck closeby.

Tell me this though, if the whole street racing had become organized, would it give you the same thrill?

Right but there is a guy here called playtime although he says street racing is not good yet I remember him not talking to me for a week just because I dithed him on my way to a race.

 

The truth is that the cops can up the penaltys all they want, if people want to race, they are going to race!! The only thing to do is try to control it, have cop, EMS, and Fire on stand by.. Then you will see people have a safe and fun night!! I would be there every Fri and Sat.

 

Right said. If people want to race, there is no stopping them. Amen!
