Whats a spare?
![]() When I did my brake upgrade, I lost the use of my spare, won't fit over the bigger brakes, so CAA has been my spare. Haven't had to use it for a tire issue yet, tranny explosion though I got a pair of Pioneeer TS-SW301 12" slim subs. They have a 3 3/8 mounting depth and .65 cubic feet seal box (each) Plan on building something in the future for my wifes GTP with them but still want truck space. Hoping these will do the job. |

I was discussing with some other folks a while ago possibility of custom box that would fit besides the wheel-well, that space is not used for anything anyways but it would have to be small kickers, like eight inchers or something. I don't like the idea of having too much sound going outside of my car though and that would make the setup pretty boomy outside.
I haven't had CAA membership in the longest time, so I'll take the opportunity to be able to change my tire if the need be. __________________ ![]() |

If your looking for maximum space the only way to go is to remove your side panels (truck area) and pick up a pair of overdrives, then a couple 10" rings and find a tight location the works for everything you want to fit in your truck, and build a fiberglass enclosure!! did this for a friends civic!! You can sand your arms off or just get it close and rocker coat it for a cool and easy finish!!!
