It might be a bit of a project if you're not big on fiberglassing, but I did an enclosure for a buddy's Acura TL with similar goals. Built a fiberglass enclosure for a 10" Alpine Type R in the drivers side (although you can go either side of trunk, doesn't really matter) of the trunk behind the wheel well. Still allows for 95% of your trunk space to be kept, and gives you a good sound and a custom look. Just make sure when you're building it to leave yourself enough room to get to your tail light bulbs without removing the whole thing.

Gen just a 3am idea but have you thought about getting some slims with slim boxes and mounting them at the front of your trunk under your rear speakers, can make some custom brackets to mount them to the sides also for a more secured mount and have them facing down, this way you can retain the space you need for A) stroller B) groceries C) access to spare tire, just a thought......at 3am lol

We had quite some discussion about my subwoofer needs but mostly offline at car meets and stuff. I tried my best at getting a free-air subwoofer but things weren't looking better as I did more and more research. So here's what I have.
![]() I made the box very small and it's going to pound a 12 inch subwoofer. The box will also feature a cool decal to be seen when I open my trunk. ![]() ![]() __________________ ![]() |
