Thought I'd post a wee vid of my first sportscar.


We bought this about 12 years ago and during that time it went through some interesting changes. We got it as a stock Eunos Roadster, with 116bhp, standard springs and standard wheels.

After 5 years of racing it at track-days, we decided it needed more power.

So we fitted a Nitrous kit.

To really give it a kick, I had to add 75bhp jets, which made it very expensive to have fun. I would have enough gas in my bottle for about 10 quarter mile runs, or 20 traffic light grand prix's

So I fitted a supercharger instead

But it was a bit shit, only boosting to about 5.5 psi, so I had to buy an upgrade for that. Bigger crank pulley. That helped a bit, but not enough.

So I bought the next upgrade, which was a smaller charger pulley and some extra brains and the boost went up to a nice 12 psi

This was now as good as it was with just the nitrous, so you would think I'd be happy....

But no

I added the nos back on and immediately my power was knocking at the 300bhp door

And then I did this while racing a long time nemesis at a race event...

(The big bully was in his 600bhp Skyline)


I won the race by the way, so it was all worth it
