I'm giving up on Patch

I spent all day yesterday changing an engine on one of my MX5's.

The deal was, if it fired up, I would paint it and get it on the road.

Unfortunately the engine I bought for £50 is knackered

Feels like a rod has broken, and I can't be bothered stripping it down again.

Soooo, I'll be stripping it for parts.

I will most likely not be bringing the V8 MX5 project, but I will be bringing the parts I need to make a V8 Miata

I've not done that much to the subframe, so I can do it even better on a Miata when I get one.

But I've been informed that when the car gets checked at your side it will be sent back or disposed off

Might be different if I had it running, but that won't be happening for a while.
