i seem to get like 6-8 of em at 1am everyday...not sure if its a flaw or someone is really in a routine

Same here, I'll be signed up to recieve notification to a topic, but I also get these notices just to tell me how many people have replied to a topic and who the last person was even if it was a couple of days ago.
